Junior Robotics

Our Junior Robotics sessions take children on an imaginative journey of what the future could look like. Starting with what robots are and their various purposes, we get kids imagining what’s possible and what the world needs. These are very hands-on activities, full of challenges and opportunities to try out new ideas.  We get to think of solutions to problems we encounter in our daily lives and see if we can design a tool to help.  

Children are introduced to a variety of simple robots and learn basic commands to control them.  They learn about sequencing, algorithms, functions, bugs and more. They also learn to put together simple mechanisms to allow their own creations to move and perform tasks.

Trial and error play a big role in these sessions so a major focus is building up each child’s resilience, creativity, critical thinking, and ability to collaborate,  in order to bring their dream to fruition.
